Maintenance of ROC-BASE shower bases
To preserve the appearance and durability of your ROC-BASE quartz or granite shower base, simple, regular maintenance is recommended.
Regular cleaning
Clean your shower base with a solution of lukewarm water and mild soap. Use a cloth, sponge or non-abrasive brush to remove soap residues and impurities, then rinse thoroughly with clear water.
Products to avoid
Certain cleaning products can damage your base’s finish and reduce its water resistance. We strongly advise against the use of the following cleaners:

Chemical cleaners: M. Net, Scrubbing Bubble, Fantastik, Hertel, Vim, Pine Sol

Scouring powders: Cornet, Ajax, Old Dutch
The use of high pH or abrasive products can alter the surface and compromise the quality of your shower base.
Water-repellent sealant: built-in protection

ROC-BASE granite shower bases are factory-treated with a water-repellent sealant and require no further treatment.

Quartz bases do not require any sealant, as their agglomerated composition includes a polymer resin that guarantees their water resistance.
